The Lembongan Surf Contest is back! Proudly presented its 12th year by Lembongan Beach Club & Resort, the surfing event will be held on September 2nd – 14th.

This year, Lembongan Surf Contest will hold 2 (two) divisions only, i.e.; Groms & Open, due to the tight schedule of its team members. But, competition and excitement is rose higher than ever to watch Putra “Pulu” Hermawan show off his valuable lesson gathered from epic battle with Kelly “the 12th World Champion” Slater on Keramas last time.

Total of 50 contestants will compete to be titled as the island’s best surfer among the best.
As the island keeps its record to bring forth its promising surfer to compete at ISC (Indonesia Surfing Championship) surf events all over Bali and or overseas, Grommet division is the interesting part to anticipate the new born of world’s class surfer of the Lembongan Island.
This event will take a place at the legendary “Shipwrecks” reef, a wave that allows for high performance surfing and the famous “Lacerations” when the swell begins to peak, setting the stage for deep barrels over a shallow razor sharp reef.

With solid swells pumping thru Bali lately, we hope to run the event in solid 5-7ft conditions – allowing the teams youngest competitors to put on a fierce display of their talents; prior to the next back to back 10ft swells expected to thunder down the reefs in the days to follow.
